The cardiovascular center has attained a high success rate in treating apoplexy and various cerebrovascular diseases jointly with well trained team of specialists from Neurology, Neurosurgery, Diagnostic Radiology and Rehabilitation Departments. The Neurology department is one of the top 5 largest neurological department in Korea in terms of the number of patiens treated, apoplexy being more than 5,000,000 annually, obtaining good results in the treatment of apoplexy not only in Korea but also in comparison with those of foreign countries.

The nuerosurgery performs various procedures on more than 2,000 cases of cerebral aneurysms annually, managing also such cerebral diseases as ischemic stroke, arteriovenous malformation, intracerebral hemorrhage with medical, surgical endovascular and radiosurgical methods. The center is equipped with subtraction angiography system, CT and MRI which are able to deliver three-dimensional angiography and virtual endoscopy, transcranial Doppler system and microsurgical appliances.
